18ct Yellow Gold Vermeil Necklaces
18ct yellow gold vermeil is when 18ct gold is applied to sterling silver using the same technique as gold plating. The plating is a thicker plating than normal gold plating and needs to be a minimum of 2.5 microns onto sterling silver . All my necklaces have been plated with a thickness of 5 microns.
